Well, as a spectator and a fan, I can tell you that TTU is (not) slowly developing a reputation that projects that winning is all that counts, at all costs. Look at the hate received just last week at the WCWS for what some say was tampering and poaching their way to the best roster in the country.
@DonnellKolby@UTFootballEdits Unlike in the case of Sorsby vs the NCAA, the jury is still out on that one. If Yormark grows a spine, the price might be too high, honestly.
@UTFootballEdits@DonnellKolby The bigger problem I see is the apparent paralysis from Texas Tech's PR team. They should have gotten in front of this if they really think they are right.
@DonnellKolby@UTFootballEdits Well I guess you can play him, right? I think the bigger question might be who will be willing to play you guys? Won't get very far w/o playing any P4 teams. But, hey, don't eat that 5 million dollar investment - that'll show em.
Let’s get one thing straight. Brett Yormark doesn’t have an ethical cell in his entire body. Texas and Oklahoma fans, coaches, etc can remember clearly how the Big 12 officials treated both teams on and off the field one the announcement was made that we were going to the SEC. Don’t tell me Yormark didn’t order that…
A decade ago, Texas Tech was a nobody. Now, a bunch of people with cactus emojis are riding the coattails of their sugar daddy while advocating for egregious rule breakers to remain eligible.
Perhaps this will be the straw that breaks the camel's back.
