Okay. Imma be real. I might flip.

Had other IPs on the mind. Might return again someday after fully writing Yarrow's lore and stuff, but oh well. /:

A shiny Milotic..!

“ A-Ah! Seems like Luna wanted to meet you as well! She's usually not interested in being around anyone other than me, but she probably heard me speaking about you just now and got curious. ” 💧

Even if he was only in his mid-twenties, he must've been rather young to see her gym battles...All he could do now is just laugh to himself, only mildly fawning over the fact that he's face to face with a Champion.

That is, until one of the Pokéballs on his belt, a Lure Ball...

Replies today! I got lazy.

Again.

For the one millionth time—

Riding on Rapidash across any region is better than Cyclizar, in Yarrow's honest opinion.

If there are laws against riding other Pokémon in Paldea though, he will NOT listen.

“ Oh! Uh...okay, Wallace! ”

It felt weird to be so casual with a Champion..!

“ I've been a fan of you since you were a gym leader! I remember sneaking off from the tribe to catch a quick flight to Sootopolis to watch you battle..! ”

...no-not at all, Miss Wallace! Your face is perfectly fine! Guess you can say I was starstruck, is all. I never expected to meet one of my childhood heroes so casually. ” 💧

A short, reserved laugh left him after speaking. This certainly was one heck of a chance encounter—

He realized he was staring...managing to move his gaze away, a sheepish expression melding into his previous look. His right hand reached up behind his head, disappearing behind the fluff of his ponytail, leaving only metal of his Mega Bracer exposed.

“ Oh, uh...

[𝔸𝕔𝕣𝕠𝕤𝕤 𝕋𝕙𝕚𝕤 ℕ𝕖𝕨 𝔻𝕚𝕧𝕚𝕕𝕖 @DREAMOFSINNOH]

...Hoennian himself, how could he not recognize that he bumped into one of his home region's Champions of all people?

Was Yarrow...starstruck? The realization pretty much petrified him in half-shock, half-awe.

He, too, was lost in thought, so it was equally his own fault for bumping into her—

“ A— Oh, nono, I should be apologizing! I was too lost in...thought. ”

As he was speaking, those crimson hues of his scanned the person's face, soon realizing who he had bumped into. Being...

Would you rather it be quick, or would you rather it be delicious?

If you're choosing the former, I'd be more than happy to serve you a bowl of uncooked cake batter with a single Razz Berry on top. ✨

Would have elaborated but I got attacked by my dogs—

Like, he wouldn't live on the islands, right? Maybe he'd live in Canalave? Snowpoint, maybe? Somewhere west of Mt. Coronet most likely. Being east would just complicate any swift travel to the islands.

I just had a thought.

In a region full of historical and mythological locations, where in the hell would Yarrow live in Sinnoh..?

...shared as Yarrow thought. Perhaps he should find a library in Paldea soon. But first...his stomach audibly growled. Break time. He and his Pokémon are hungry after their trip, after all—

“ A-Aheh...Well, if you're hungry, count yourself lucky. Food is on me. ” ✨

As Yarrow neared, he held his right hand out, the metal of his Mega Bracer reflecting the sunlight. If Koraidon would allow him, they would be gently pet.

As for knowing a lot...he wasn't much knowledgable about Paldea and its native Pokémon at all. As a matter of fact, that...

well.. if what they knew so far was worth anything, they’d state almost excitedly that Cyclizar was more an evolution to them than anything! was that right? that sounded right. right???

Although...if truly understanding what was intended to be said, it was odd to see how a beautiful, yet seemingly strong Pokémon like them could evolve into the average Cyclizar.

A quiet moment was...
