In 2016, Democrats rallied behind Bernie, but the DNC overruled them and went with Hillary. She lost.

In 2020, Democrats chose Biden, and he won.

In 2024, Democrats weren’t even asked who they wanted as president—they were simply told it would be Kamala. She lost.

Americans, both Republicans and Democrats, are inherently defiant. If you dictate who they’re voting for instead of listening to them, you’ll lose. That’s the real takeaway from this election. But it’s probably just easier to blame it on sexism or racism.
