D.R. Hill teacher, Brent Bernier, led a personal finance training session for teachers at the SC Education and Business Summit. This workshop was one in a series of workshops to help train South Carolina teachers who are seeking certification to teach Personal Finance.

Our Orchestra has been given the Outstanding Performance Award- Silver for the 2022-2023 school year! Points were accumulated for participation in Region and All-State Orchestras, Concert Performance Assessment, and Solo and Ensemble performances. Congratulations students!

This weekend 12 D.R. Hill Orchestra students participated in Solo and Ensemble Festival. These students received a Superior or Excellent ranking for their performances!
Mr. Bernier's students competed in a Stock Market Challenge over the last several weeks. Congratulations to the highest ranking team of all the D. R. Hill teams and 6th place out of 191 middle school teams across the state!

Our iReady Growth Party has been a hit! We are celebrating over 550 of our students hitting their iReady Annual Growth Goal! A special thanks to Pelican's Snoballs of Greer, Pizza Inn of Duncan, and Friendship Baptist Church for their help making this event possible for our kids!
Some of our students make and serve fresh popcorn to our staff members every Friday. Students complete assigned jobs such as popcorn prep, delivery and cashier in order to learn and practice real world skills. #TheHill
