SEBI has cleared the long-awaited National Stock Exchange IPO, removing the biggest regulatory hurdle for one of India’s most anticipated public issues.

🎯 MY PRICE-BAND VIEW FOR NSE IPO:

✅ ₹1,000–₹1,300: Excellent margin of safety 🔥

✅ ₹1,300–₹1,500: Best range for retail investors 💯

✅ ₹1,500–₹1,700: Good, but valuation needs closer attention

⚠️ ₹1,700–₹2,000: Not bad, not great—slightly expensive

❌ Above ₹2,000: Clearly overvalued in my view

🚨 Above ₹2,200: Very expensive; a discount listing cannot be ruled out
NSE is an excellent business, but even the best business can become a poor IPO if it is priced too aggressively.

The official price band, issue dates and final valuation have not yet been announced.

Media reports suggest a price-band announcement could come around September 11, a potential launch around mid-September and a tentative listing near September 25—but NSE has not formally confirmed this timetable

My message to NSE and merchant bankers: Price it fairly. Give retail investors a margin of safety.
