The issue with Ghana is that the country's median age is 21. Statistically, very few Ghanaians have ever seen a Ghana that was a terrible place. The last such a Ghana existed was the era before Rawlings, when things were so bad that Ghanaians used to emigrate to Nigeria.
But if you were born under Rawlings, Kuffour or Ata Mills, you have never witnessed that type of terrible Ghana before, so I guess you'd imagine that this current version of Ghana has always existed, and you'd also have no concept of protecting the things you have because you've never known a reality when you didn't have them.
I hope they are never forced to lose their naivety the way we were forced to lose ours 🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿
To the Ghanaians on my TL, I just hope you understand that these conversations about Ga vs Asante vs Ewe that have suddenly taken the front burner are not organic.
I've warned you before. The social engineers have turned their attention to you.
And if you don't intentionally kill this noise, you will wake up one morning and find that your country has turned into Nigeria. You people should wake up.
Some Ghanaian businesses are quite weird. You wanna increase club from ¢20 to ¢25, I asked why and you say a crate is now ¢170. But that's some ¢5.80 on each bottle, more than when a crate was ¢150 and a bottle ¢15. Why would you want ¢10 profit on each bottle at a corner bar?
