दक्षिण राजस्थान के मध्य भागों पर बना एक सुस्पष्ट निम्न दबाव का क्षेत्र, 7 सितंबर की सुबह तक दक्षिण राजस्थान और उससे सटे उत्तरी गुजरात के ऊपर एक अवदाब में परिवर्तित होने की संभावना है। इसके प्रभाव से, 7 सितंबर तक गुजरात राज्य और राजस्थान में भारी से बहुत भारी वर्षा होने की संभावना है। गुजरात क्षेत्र में कुछ स्थानों पर 5-7 के दौरान और सौराष्ट्र और कच्छ में 6 और 7 अत्यंत भारी वर्षा ,गुजरात क्षेत्र में 6 को असाधारण रूप से भारी वर्षा (≥ 30 सेमी) होने की संभावना है; पश्चिमी राजस्थान में 6 व 7 को और दक्षिण-पश्चिम राजस्थान में 6 सितंबर को अत्यंत भारी वर्षा होने की संभावना है।

Highlights

The Well Marked low pressure area over central parts of south Rajasthan, likely to concentrate into a depression over South Rajasthan and adjoining North Gujarat by 07th September morning. Under its influence, Heavy to very heavy rainfall likely over Gujarat state and Rajasthan till 07th September with possibility of Extremely heavy falls at isolated places over Gujarat Region during 05th-07th and Saurashtra & Kutch on 06th & 07th with exceptionally heavy rainfall (≥ 30 cm) over Gujarat region on 06th; Extremely heavy falls also likely over West Rajasthan on 06th & 07th and southwest Rajasthan on 06th September, 2025.

West and Northwest India:

❖ Extremely heavy rainfall over Gujarat State and west Rajasthan on 06th & 07th; with exceptionally heavy rainfall (≥ 30 cm) over Gujarat region on 06th; Extremely heavy falls also likely over East Rajasthan on 06th September.

❖ Isolated heavy rainfall is very likely over West Rajasthan on 09th; Uttarakhand during 06th - 08th & 12th; Himachal Pradesh & Punjab on 06; Haryana Chandigarh & Delhi on 06th & 09th; East Uttar Pradesh on 11th & 12th; East Rajasthan and Gujarat State on 08th September with very heavy rainfall over Konkan & Goa and Madhya Maharashtra on 06th & 07th; West Rajasthan on 08th; East Rajasthan on 07th September.

❖ Light to moderate rainfall accompanied with thunderstorm & lightning at a most/many places very likely over the region during next 7 days.

East & Central India:

❖ Isolated heavy rainfall likely over East Madhya Pradesh on 10th & 11th; Odisha on 06th, 7th,9th & 10th; SubHimalayan West Bengal & Sikkim during next 7 days; Bihar on during 08th-10th; Andaman & Nicobar Islands on 06th,10th& 11th; Chhattisgarh during 10th -12th September with very heavy rainfall over West Madhya Pradesh on 6th September.

❖ Light to moderate rainfall at most/many places accompanied with thunderstorm & lightning likely over the region during next 7 days.

Northeast India:

❖ Isolated heavy rainfall likely over Assam & Meghalaya during 06th-08th and on 11th & 12th; Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram & Tripura during 06th-08th and Arunachal Pradesh on 06th & 07th September.

❖ Light/moderate rainfall at many places accompanied with thunderstorm & lightning likely during next 7 days.

South Peninsular India

❖ Isolated heavy rainfall likely over Tamil Nadu during 06th 10th; Kerala & Mahe on 09th & 10th; Lakshadweep and Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam during 10th – 12th September.

❖ Strong surface winds (speed reaching 30-40 kmph) very likely over Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam, Rayalaseema during next 5 days.

❖ Light to moderate rainfall accompanied with thunderstorm & lightning at a few places likely over the region during next 5 days.
