Just a thought, when the offers came in...
Rush left (came back), Fowler left (came back), Owen left, Torres left, Mascherano left, Alonso left, Suarez left, Mané left...
Salah stayed.
Liverpool was enough for Mo Salah and Steven Gerrard, our two biggest legends of the PL era.
I wonder who will be this years Sofyan Amrabat at the World Cup.
Has a couple of decent games at the World Cup and then Liverpool fans are gagging to sign him even though they never heard of him before it started.
Amrabat was that man at the Qatar World Cup 🫢
@kevinhatchard It's reported that he wanted more control of the whole footballing project than we were prepared to offer.
Personally I don't think he'd be a great tactical fit but a great guy and manager none the less.
1. Delighted he's gone.
2. I really like Iraola.
3. Poor form not to announce it before the last day and give Slot some appreciation for his league title at Anfield.
4. Get Salah's agent on the blower 😅

🚨 BREAKING BOMBSHELL FOR #LFC FANS! 🚨
Huge, game-changing transfer news about to drop on Liverpool Football Club…
We’re going FULL EXCLUSIVE at 8pm sharp TONIGHT! 💣
Rock-solid, 100% trusted source – we’re not messing around! 😱🔥
Great finish from Wirtz but I'm even happier with Mo Salah. If he can get back to his mindset of last season (an assist is as good as a goal) then he'll be such an asset again.
These injuries are nothing short of a cruise.
It's absolutely ridiculous that the league don't allow you to sign players mid season. Even a small 'window' in January would allow clubs to solve these problems!
Said it before, I'll say it again... The lack of leadership in this team is a concern and Andy Robertson is so valuable for just that reason. I expect us to improve with him on the pitch.
Selling him would be wild....
"At the end of the day, Liverpool football club need Mo Salah back playing well"
Steven Gerrard gives his take on Mo Salah's comments and his current situation at Liverpool 🗣️
Slot had an opportunity to bury the hatchet tonight.
We've no Gakpo or Chiesa and he could have been the bigger person and put the team first.
Instead, he's worried about his own pride and image, rather than what's best for the team.
If Salah plays and does well, everyone wins
If he plays poorly though then Slot can hook him and make a point.
Embarrassing state of affairs, he's playing a top European team while we're struggling to qualify and is putting politics first...
