@SPascoalLima @policecommander 💯 the current wage structure and pressure on good coppers will mean they either leave the job or come away from front line policing. On top of this what decent coppers are going to join under these current conditions other than those seeing it as a short term plan.

@BBCBreakfast @PFEW_HQ Haters can hate all they want but the truth is the police will not improve unless they are fairly paid as you will lose all the good officers that can move their skills into the private sector and you will only hire kids and people not good enough for the role.
