The power and influence of trained peers to support and guide their friends plays a huge role here. Repeating adult lead interventions has very limited impact. Peers can address their friends unhealthy values and views about relationships very effectively.

Great to see our new Digital Youth Work Standards featured in CYP Now.

The new standards provide a quality framework to help build the skills and confidence of youth workers to integrate digital technologies into their work with young people. They follow on from research by the NYA which reveals that only a quarter of youth workers surveyed had undertaken digital specific youth work training and fear of the unknown is a key barrier to delivering digital youth work.
