@stefen_rosner@NHLMedia I was at the game tonight, Sorokin was on his A+ game, looked very sharp, great rebound control & focused. Awesome to see Schaefer's first NHL goal & tonight too for Eklund. Strong team performance. Keefe's comments reminds me of what was said about Isles when Trotz was coach.
@SperryTime The team collapsed and one of the reason was the goalie collapsed. Look at those stats, its hard to be that bad. He was awful after the Olympics even before he played all those games in a row...plus he was off for 3 weeks, no reason to be that bad right after Olympics.
@SperryTime PS: Bob is the starter and Stolarz is the backup. He gave up 2 goals on the first few shots..after Isles were playing well for first 10 min. It is a habit that he still has even at 31 yrs old. Yes he played well rest of the game. Let's hope we see pre-olympic sorokin more
@SperryTime 1 Goal 2 absolutely preventable, hold on to the soft shot
2 Bad rebounds continues to be a problem for him at 31 yrs old
3 How many times can he let in the first few shots of a game in and put team down right away
4 Aren't you tired of him getting outplayed by back up goalies?
@stefen_rosner@cmtesta1 Thank you for the fast reply. I want Sorokin to be great & I hope team comes out fired up on Sat, as far as Stolarz how many times have you had to say the other goalie outplayed Sorokin in important/big games? PS: Let's go Yankees! Always sweet to beat Boston, TB will be tough!
@stefen_rosner Stefen, While he played better the rest of the game, this team cannot constantly fall behind on the first few shots of the game, when especially the 2nd one was not a good goal (again). Sorokin seems to lose focus or position at times when other lesser talented goalies do not
@Kevin1155581@stefen_rosner That’s great a link to awards, he didn’t win, if the vote was in January he may have won. He was terrible after being rested for the Olympic break. He stunk down the stretch like he has every year and team didn’t have Varly around to save the day and get them in playoffs
@Kevin1155581@stefen_rosner That what it took you so long to come up with lol. Did you see how bad he was the last two months and so far in preseason. He is becoming a problem, clown.
@stefen_rosner If only they cared about fundamentals, that sequence that cost them the game was painful to watch. Also why are they not practicing sliding..Grisham didn’t only pop off the bag, he popped far off and twisted in the air
