I originally started BuildTraction as a way for founders to get feedback from other founders and build better products.
Then I found 4–6 other apps doing almost the same thing.
And I kept coming back to one question:
How am I going to get users?
Then I realized almost every founder has the same problem:
distribution.
You get feedback.
You improve the product.
You launch on Product Hunt, Uneed, directories, maybe post on X.
And then… what?
There’s no universal roadmap for getting the first users because every product has a different audience, stage, channel and story.
Since then, I’ve been rebuilding BuildTraction around that problem.
I’m dogfooding it every day, finding the holes, and trying to make early distribution feel as approachable as vibe coding made building.
Still in beta.
I’d love to work closely with a few founders for free before I put up the paywall and properly launch it.
If you’ve built something and the question is “how do I actually get people to see/use this?”
Would love to see amazing founder joining me.
One thing I’ve noticed
Every time I talk about my product, traffic goes up.
Those posts don’t always get the most likes or impressions.
But they drive more actual visits than almost anything else I post.
Which makes me think a lot of founders optimize for the wrong metric on X.
Impressions are nice.
Likes are nice.

@aapakari "Go direct" does it work? I would not waste anyone's time, and would love to be "go direct". however human always reject the threat - the threat for being sold.
Founders:
What’s your biggest problem right now?
A) Nobody sees the product
B) People visit but don’t sign up
C) People sign up but don’t use it
D) People use it but don’t pay
