VIDEO: Rukaragata mine in Ngororero district is a vast flat area producing 800Kg of Coltan & cassiterite daily for export. 10 types of minerals from here including Iron. Due to its high quality grade, Coltan from here is $70-80/Kg while that from other countries is at $20-30/Kg

@RwandaMinesB @FrancisKamanzi1 @NgororeroDistr I suggest: 1. Create clear sampling points; feed, con and tails. 2. Minimise spillages as much as possible - this will significantly reduce # of shovelers; have more than 10 cleaners in smaller plant like this with no single samplers doesn’t look professional at all. Good luck

Based on the photos, I am convinced that this plant metal % recovery is still almost the same as for sluicing operations. If they are still in commissioning stage - ok but I don’t think so - no samplers instead shovelers.
