२७ गावांच्या पाणी टंचाईवर कायमची मात करण्यासाठी अमृत योजनेच काम २०१९ पासून सुरू आहे. या योजनेसाठी वाढीव पाणी कोटा मिळावा म्हणून शासन स्तरावर वेळोवेळी पाठपुरावाही केला.

योजनेच काम सुरू करताना, जलकुंभांसाठी जागा उपलब्ध नसल्या कारणाने अनेक काम रखडली होती. यामुळेच मी स्वतः पाठपुरावा करून जलकुंभांसाठी जागा उपलब्ध करून घेतल्या आणि रखडलेल्या सर्व जलकुंभांची काम प्रगतीपथावर सुरु केली. मात्र काम सुरू असताना देखील २७ गावातील जनतेला मोठ्या प्रमाणावर पाणी टंचाईचा सामना करावा लागतोच आहे.

याचमुळे आज केडीएमसीचे कार्यकारी अभियंता श्री. शैलेश कुलकर्णी व त्यांच्या सहकाऱ्यांसमवेत दावडी, सोनारपाडा,कोळे, संदप, नांदिवली,सागावं या गावांमध्ये सुरू असलेल्या जलकुंभांच्या कामांचा त्वरित आढावा घेतला. तसेच ज्या परिसरात सर्वाधिक पाणी टंचाई निर्माण झाली आहे त्या भागात तातडीने पाणी पुरवठा करण्यास प्राधान्य देण्याची सूचना देखील केडीएमसी अधिकाऱ्यांना केली.

यावेळी महाराष्ट्र नवनिर्माण सेनेचे डोंबिवली शहर अध्यक्ष श्री.राहुल कामत, श्री सुदेश चुडानाईक यांसह महाराष्ट्र सैनिक सहकारी व ग्रामस्थ उपस्थित होते.
