👋🌎 Hello world. We are Public Grids. We bring grassroots organizers and sector-leading experts together to build the public power movement at every level, from campaign to implementation.
“Late Earlies,” (mail ballots that are dropped off on Election Day) are delivered to us the day AFTER the election. They’re not included in the Election Night numbers.
Drop off your mail ballot as soon as possible to have your votes included in the election night results.
“@TucsonRomero and the @cityoftucson have the opportunity to do what none of the presidential candidates can achieve: to take on TEP and make high rates a distant memory.”

WELL above normal temperatures continue through the weekend across southeastern Arizona. Remember to prepare for the heat if you have outdoor plans! #azwx
For the 14th time this month, Tucson has set a daily record high temperature. As of 115 pm, the high at the airport has been 98° which breaks the old October 23 daily record of 96° from 2017. Still time left in the day for recording the latest calendar date of 100°. #azwx
It’s been four years since this rugged stretch of the Pajarito Mts was dynamited to build the border wall.
Every day since, crews have been working to stabilize this mountainside so it doesn’t crumble & so the wall doesn’t topple over. This work will never stop. Taxpayer money.
According to the USPS:
123,000 ballots will be out for delivery today (10/17). This is the remainder of late ballots for Pima County.
Mail ballots can still be requested up until 10/25.
In-Person, Early Voting options are also available at this time.

"I just can't get the images from this past weekend out of my head. It's tempting to throw your hands up like there's nothing you can do, but it is our country that provides Israel with the weapons they use to kill people." https://t.co/uB0UnYE3kP
🥵🌡️Another day, another record-breaking high temperature in Tucson! So far today, Tucson Int'l Airport reached 106°F! This breaks the all-time October high temperature of 105° set on October 1st, 2024 and today's high temperature of 102°F previously set in 2020! #azwx
Reminder that @TEPenergy is building a NEW 400MW gas-fired power plant despite Arizona experiencing another brutally hot and deadly summer.
Gas is mostly methane, a very very potent greenhouse gas 🥵
