The only way we can defeat fascism is by making sure our voices are heard!
it’s been about four months since we started our four-day workweek experiment and i can honestly say that the idea of a five-day workweek now seems insane looking back, both because three days are necessary for a proper weekend and no job truly needs all five days
The CIA wants me to believe Cuba, a country that spends not even 1% of what we do on the military, has developed a highly sophisticated physically impossible ray gun and they’re using it to give CIA agents headaches and make them poop themselves like cmon 😂
It is shameful for @OCFireRescue firefighters to not only refuse to get a lifesaving vaccine, but also use their stature in the community to promote the "vaccine choice" that has killed over 50,000 Floridians and counting. Local media should NOT be elevating these deadly views.

Energy is still high in the early morning hours @NYTWA. Drivers chatting a familiar talk, re: no retirement, too many hours, limited medical coverage & most of all, #debtforgivnessnow. @augustinetang was taking a break so didn’t wanna wake him. Will swing by and bring lunch later
An eviction crisis isn’t the fault of renters who can’t pay for shelter, but rather the fault of a system that prioritizes for-profit housing over providing a basic human right to all.
Striking carpenters in western Washington are asking for pictures and messages of solidarity. If you’re with coworkers, snap a group shot. You can leave them in the comments here and I’ll pass them along, or post them in the The Peter J. McGuire Group (Facebook).
I got 50 unread texts from ppl who want to donate their labor to help with #HurricaneIda recovery. The biggest bottleneck we have with deploying volunteers is NOT ENOUGH CREW LEADS! If you have (even a little) experience w muck & gut or tarping roofs & want to help, get at me
I’m tired of out-of-town corporations that overwork and underpay their workers, have no problem polluting our community, and leave once they find a new place with lower wages and fewer labor and environmental protections.
A better alternative exists:
Local worker-owned co-ops.
There are 38 million Americans who suffer from food insecurity. Meanwhile the US wastes 108 billions pounds of food every year. But somehow capitalism is the best system for allocating resources 🤔
