Engagement with faculty is a key to student success and the transition to college can be especially difficult for students with disabilities. This is why we offer the Faculty Mentorship Program for first-semester freshmen with disabilities!
Close to 50 faculty members have worked one-on-one with more than 400 students since the program began. The faculty mentors, who have been highly trained, give students a sense of belonging to the University community and a better understanding of the academic expectations.
