Yesterday all Central Okanagan Public Schools took time to remember the sacrifices that many Canadians made to make our country safe for all. This Remembrance Day we ask that you take time to reflect and be thankful for the people that have served our country.

On the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation commit to taking action that leads to the teaching of the truth of colonization and residential schools and moves us towards reconciliation in a good way. Every child matters!
Our very first meeting of the year! We met our new council members and we got to know Ms. Steen, an assistant Superintendent! We’re excited to work with her! Our Co-Presidents attached ribbons to an Indigenous ceremonial paddle to continue our work on Truth and Reconciliation!
We’re excited for the year and we hope everyone has a great time. As members of your DSC, we’re going to work hard to help make this a great year and we could use your help! It’s a way to meet students from all over SD23 and create real change in SD23! Please DM us if interested!
