Applications are invited for a PhD Scholarship to investigate a community-based physical activity social intervention for men called Football Cooperative (FC), led by Dr Paula Carroll, Dr Aisling Mc Grath, Dr Laura Finnegan PhD and Dr Noel Richardson.
The current study proposes to investigate the processes of replicating the FC initiative at scale.

The project seeks to realise the potential of sports clubs for community engagement - particularly for more vulnerable groups. If you have an interest in community based health promotion and/or using sport as a medium for community outreach, this might be the project for you!
