He’s not rigging anything in his favor. Where do you get your information? First of all he’s not eligible to run for another term so “his favor” is out of the question. Secondly, over the last three years there’s been several arrests for voter fraud, ballot stuffing, dead people somehow casting their ballots, etc. You better check your sources. Lastly, we don’t care how Germany Switzerland, and the others vote. Those countries are smaller than most states and don’t exist in multiple time zones, so much more manageable for them. That’s a poor comparison.
