Team “Alligator Frog” competed the Scavenger Hunt first, sharing some creative photos of the Arch, College Church, Muny, and Penguins along the way. Nicely done!
Team 1 learned to embrace the rain and traveled to our see Fr DeSmet, the St Louis Zoo, our annual graduation site (New cathedral), and Arch among other places. They also learned that rubies and diamonds are jewels. :)
Team 3 said hello to our former Jesuit Residence, our city’s namesake, the arch and the Old Cathedral, before returning all safe and sound at the end of the scavenger hunt. Phew!
Team 4 visited the DSJ chapel, our Jesuit partners (Loyola and St Matt’s), the arch and our friends the sea lions, while building brotherhood and fostering teamwork in our scav hunt. Nice job!
Neither snow nor rain nor heat nor gloom of night stays these StuCo leaders from the swift completion of the annual Scavenger Hunt. All four teams reunite at the Worlds Fair Pavilion.
Remember: Spartans for Heroes, one of our newest clubs @DeSmetJesuitHS is collecting baked goods for first responders this holiday season. If you’d like to participate, drop off your goods (can be store bought as well) and sweets tomorrow in Emerson lobby on your way to finals.
Christmas on Campus 2018 was a huge success. Shout out to the StuGo team for organizing an army of awesome volunteers. Couldn’t happen without you. @DeSmetJesuitHS is lucky to have you all as leaders.
It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas as StuGo gets ready for our annual Christmas on Campus this Saturday: one of the best days of the year. Students can still sign up to volunteer!
Such an amazing opportunity to work with Gateway To Change and @VizAcademy to support under-represented Non-Profits from the STL area. Thanks to seniors Matt Dunn, Sean Gerty and Justin Reynolds for representing @DeSmetJesuitHS. Thank you, Ms. Das!!
