As we work to fast-track the industrialization of Delta State in order to create new jobs and opportunities for our youth, this past week, I held crucial meetings with Chinese government officials and prospective investors to discuss the Kwale Industrial Park Project.
At the Natural Gas and Chemicals International Forum in Nanjing, China, I announced that we now have some prospective international investors in the Kwale Industrial Park project that have indicated their readiness to relocate to Nigeria.
As we jump-start our aggressive industrialization agenda, the Delta State Government will continue to work with potential investors in the Kwale Industrial Plant Project to address any barriers to their investment decisions.
Nigeria is Africa's biggest market and a gateway to wider African markets. This is why, my administration is working to make the Kwale Industrial Park the most investment-friendly location in the country.

Yesterday, at the Kwale Industrial Park Road Show in Shenyang, China, which was attended by Chinese Government officials and potential investors, I outlined my administration’s vision for the aggressive industrialization of Delta State.
My administration is working to make Kwale in Delta State the most investor-friendly destination in Nigeria. This is why we are backing our words with actions by setting up an initial intervention fund of $10million as a counterpart startup equity from the state government.
At the meeting, I spoke about how my administration has been working to enhance and expand our contributory health scheme by paying the premiums for both pregnant women and children under 5-years old.
It was great to receive the renowned Jewish Christian evangelist, Rabbi K.A. Schneider at the Government House, Asaba today. I welcomed the Rabbi to our great state for his crusade and urged him and his congregation to continue to pray for our state and the nation.
