@davidpollack47 I think the “have you seen your offense” part explains why you kick there. Down 5 the plan was make the kick, get a stop, then another FG to win it. Far more likely than the offense suddenly putting it together. (Yes, I realize that’s ultimately what happened)

@hawkeyegamefilm Idk if it’s because we haven’t had a WR than can get open on the deep route or had a QB with the arm and confidence to throw it. (Or a combination of the 2) But I do know I’ve seen a few other completions this year that we have rarely seen in the last 20 years.

@hawkeyegamefilm That’s a play Iowa has ran (in some variation) the last 20+ years, correct? It’s almost always the check down to the TE in the flat for a 2-5yrd gain. Occasionally we’ll hit the middle WR. I don’t know if I can ever recall a QB hitting the deep receiver on that play.

@RyStar7_ 41-44% is fantastic! If she was still shooting 50% (or higher) in games I’d say she probably wasn’t shooting enough in games 😅😅.
