Really funny that Wes Anderson of all people made a movie about how the genteel pre-fascist world of the 1910s never existed again and was forever lost to death and barbarism exactly one year before the emergence of a decade of global fascist movements. What did he know
Thinking about how I convinced a whole family to take a chance on this film when I was working in the movie theater and they came out of the screening and thanked me cause it was the best film they’d seen in years.
Unbelievable this take gets on TV given the discourse right now. Steph has arguably changed the game more than anyone. He would be Steph in any generation. He’s a one of one.
