@ThomasDrance@CConway96@Canucks Drancer gets a lot of hate but he has really good takes. He was never a fan of any of the teams over the last 5 years and ultimately predicted the downfall of the Canucks. Need to give props to people when they do a good job and he’s done that
@sekeresandprice@mattsekeres@justBlakePrice@patersonjeff@YellowDogBeer 3. Holding on to a lot of the good vets made sense. The free agency class this year sucks, there value will be more much more when teams start to strike out on good players. I trust RJ and Co. Will make the right trade at the right value. They know how this market is
@sekeresandprice@mattsekeres@justBlakePrice@patersonjeff@YellowDogBeer 2. It’s a big reason I’ve diverted to listening to Dayal, Quads, Satiar etc. Have always had good takes and are critical when you need to be, feel like S&P + Jeff have constantly been looking for headlines
@sekeresandprice@mattsekeres@justBlakePrice@patersonjeff@YellowDogBeer 1. Used to listen to these guys growing up and will always have respect for them but takes like these are what makes the media in Vancouver so toxic. You don’t need to make a trade for the sake of making one, give these guys a god damn chance. It’s been one month.
@Wolvergene18@JFreshHockey That doesn’t mean the Chicago deal is any good lol. Both deals would’ve been criticized, im shocked Chicago did this but screw Chicago, they deserve it after all the shit they’ve done over the years
@oghenx@JayJanower Played against him for a few years, knew him pretty well at one point. Nice guy but changed alot when he went to Bayern. I don’t blame him though
@Sapsterr_ Literally does not make sense to trade Petey, and you can’t trade hronek for his NMC. Debrusk and Boeser are the only guys you can really trade and there value may be higher during free agency once teams strike out. There’s no rush
The US players can all say how hard it is to play in Canada and of course some of the discourse goes over the line, specifically on social media, but ultimately you can win 10 cups in a US market and it won’t sniff the reaction of winning in Canada.
@jimmathesonnhl This is a bad take, I’m shocked NHL reporters are saying this. I’m Canadian and all the American guys who left were just in bad situations, Hughes and Tkachuk wanting out makes sense
@LeafsTok The difference between Leafs fans and Canucks fans are that Canucks fan can actually admit their team and organization is dog shit but the Leafs can’t
@justBlakePrice I expect more from you Blake. Can’t generalize American players like that. Can’t expect them all to just leave because they wanna be in America. Culture matters and every single one of those guys who left, left a shitty culture for a team with a good one.
@DJHeerMusic Dude I actually hate when you tweet. You have no common sense when it comes to hockey. He’s at his lowest point in the career and there’s no rush in trading him, it makes no sense to trade him now. You give him two years to figure it out and then do it
@HayesTSN Bro he signed an 8 year deal, literally no other team is offering that. It’s a bad deal for Toronto but a good deal for him, he should always take that and run lol
@TopTierPucks@FriedgeHNIC As a leafs hater, oilers fans gotta sit this one out. You guys ruined 10 years of McDavid lmao, and then proceeded to hire Babcock
