A small hobby aviary specializing in raising and rescuing pigeons.
Researching cognitive/social development with in the loft and integration into a human flock.
She's developed a wet sneeze. Gargling yesterday, none today.
So we'll use the otoscope to check her nose and throat for obstruction and then see if we can turn anything up on a throat swab.

Racing Homer
Pied Ash Red Dark Check Hen
Initial PMV Vaccination Administered 8/12/26
Initial Paratyphoid Vaccination Administered 8/12/26
Reserved for adoption by Cobbles' rescuer once she's healed.
Arrived 8/5/26 too weak and severely emaciated to dip or vaccinate.
Placed on a high fat and protein recovery diet.
Weight is fluctuating, but 291g. today!
Lice dip 2 down, 1 more to go.
There is a tooth mark on the inside of the wing, and what looks to be a claw mark in the right breast.
I suspect this was a cat bite, by the spacing.
X-rays on the 10th confirmed that the wing is broken in 6-7 places, but that we can probably splint instead of amputation.

Cobbles is thin, weak, and too shocky to safely vaccinate just yet.
I'm going to put them on the high protein and fat recovery diet and will vaccinate next week.
They have an appointment with Dr. Mayer for an x-ray on the 10th.

Pied Ash Red Dark check
Arrived 8/5/26 weak and severely emaciated.
Very low number of lice, but too weak to risk dipping or vaccines yet.
His direction work is decent, but he will still occasionally try to launch.
He would do best in a loft, but may adapt to being a house bird, if he is allowed to bond to a human social hen.

PMV Booster 10/19/25
Paratyphoid Booster 4/19/26
Strict Hatch Control Required
Fee: $25
Includes his harness.
Shipping is available within the continental US at the client's expense.
He's very well crate trained and we are working on a bedtime routine.
Pants is very skittish and does not like to use the harness, but we are working on that. He's tolerant of show hold, and is fairly easy to harness, but much prefers to walk on his own than be carried.
He is excellently crate trained, usually returning of his own volition, after it's clean.
He doesn't like harness work, but he is at least growing more tolerant of it.

Sired by Nettle out of Suki 11/22/21

Paratyphoid Booster administered 4/19/26
Teasel is a very flighty, wary bird, who will only come to sit with people while Diamond is on them.
I don't have high hopes for him attaching to anyone other than her, but wherever she goes, he will follow.
