When Jesus called himself the Good Shepherd, that meant more than people realize.
A shepherd didnโt just own sheep, he lived with them, knew each one, and stayed when things got dangerous.
Jesus didnโt say โIโm a good teacher.โ He said โIโm the Good Shepherd.โ A teacher gives advice and leaves. A shepherd stays. He knows every mess youโve made and still calls you his.
Sheep wander, so do we, but heโs the one who comes after us and brings us back. Weโre not strong enough to find our own way.
We just have a Shepherd faithful enough to lead us home.
@ADudeFromNowere Daylight later in the evenings during the summer is the best. More time for activities. Now it will be dark in the drive home from work. Legislators picked wrong.
