No president in history has humiliated the U.S. military like Trump. First, he had U.S. soldiers on their knees rolling out a red carpet for the war criminal Putin. Then, he used our troops carelessly to start the most bizarre war with Iran. And then he lost that war through staggering incompetence.
I have tremendous respect for American soldiers. And I am ashamed that a draft dodger is humiliating them like this.
Jon Ossoff completely let loose on Trump. Holy cow.
"While the sailors on the Lincoln fight his war, draining our munitions, he sleeps through meetings, golfs, and trades stocks.
He doesn't want to do the job. He wants to build his ballroom and travel with Natalie on their apparently defenseless flying palace, gifted by the emir of Qatar."
SOUND ON! 🔥
SNYDER: You can't imagine Trump or Hegseth visiting Kyiv. It's not that it's not going to happen. It's just unimaginable.
It's psychically impossible for them. They can't be in a world where people are actually taking real risks for real things.
That would be too much for them. They can't be in a place where there is courage.
That would be opposed to just manipulating the rest of us with words, which is designed to make them look tough.
They'd never take any risk for anything themselves. They believe that all talk of patriotism, democracy is just for show.
These are people who fundamentally will just tell you what you want to hear in order to get what they want personally.
For them, whole idea of democracy, and even national sovereignty, is all just a joke, right? Just a means to an end.
When they're confronted by others for whom democracy or national sovereignty isn't a joke, who would fight for freedom.
Not just use words like "fight for freedom," but who would, like Ukraine, do it, when they're confronted and are doing it.
Have been doing it for 4 and a half years now, they don't have a way to respond besides scorn, spite, and dismissal.
That's the only thing they can do, because they're in a world where those are all words, and it's all just words.
When they're confronted with actual human beings, men and women who are actually taking risks, they're helpless.
They have to get that topic off the table. They're only comfortable in a world where everybody is venal and hypocritical.
Where everybody lies all the time. And so I think that's the fundamental thing: it's just really uncomfortable for them.
Ukrainian professional tennis player Viacheslav (Slava) Kurbanov, who joined Ukrainian Armed Forces as volunteer in 2022, was killed in action on August 14, 2026.
On days like this, it is especially hard to accept the lifting of the ban on the Russian athletes by many federations and even IOC.
On this day, August 15, last year Trump invited a war criminal Putin to the U.S.
It was a great day for russia.
A shameful day for the United States.
And a painful day for Ukraine.
This image will be remembered as the defining failure of Trump’s presidency — a presidency already marked by incompetence and moral bankruptcy.
The worst president in U.S. history.
Belarusian Maria Zaitseva, was granted asylum in the Czech Republic following protests against the Lukashenko regime.
In 2023, this brave woman joined the International Legion of Ukraine as a combat medic🇺🇦❤️🩹
Maria had survived injuries sustained during the 2020 Belarusian protests and undergone multiple surgeries, yet she chose to fight for freedom.
She fell in January 2025 near Pokrovsk, the day after her 24th birthday.💔
"One day, a free Belarus will honor her memory as a heroine of our nation," stated her friend.
Maria believed that the fight for Ukraine's freedom was linked to the future struggle for a free Belarus. Through her actions, she demonstrated courage that transcended national borders.
Honor to her memory. 🫡🙏
