We don’t know what tomorrow holds for everyone of us, but some of us hope it’s better than today.
When we see people who once made effort covering up, and standing firm in faith, even with the kind of people they’re surrounded by, we’re happy, we encourage them, and silently pray for them to continue to have the strength and eeman to forge ahead.
Then they stop trying, staff falling into all the temptation they once looked like they’ll never fall for, and talking about it becomes a crime against someone’s “mental health” or peace of mind, or “choice”.
Like in the video, we’ve had too many to grief.
It’s definitely not okay.
Also, it’s not enough that you show us signs of you still doing Solah, as you live your “choice”.
It’s not enough.
Till date, I still see F’s videos and wonder if we’ll ever know why someone who wouldn’t even show their neck, completely took off the hijab.
Once you make us a part of your life, as you unintentionally do, don’t start wondering why we talk about or even get affected by the “choices” you make for “your self”.
May Allah make us steadfast on this deen.
Sometimes, life feels heavy. The doors seem closed. The path ahead feels uncertain. But even in the silence of your waiting, Allah is preparing, arranging, and unfolding what’s written for you in ways you cannot yet see.
If you think you’re running 10 minutes late, text to say you’ll be 15 minutes late. That way the other person gets one disappointment and one pleasant surprise.
What to Take From Ramadan:
1/ Ramadan may be over, but the real challenge is just beginning. If there are two things you take with you, let them be:
Your obligatory prayers
A regular reading of a Qur’an translation
These two acts can transform your faith. Let me explain.
It is impermissible for a Muslim to propagate obscene language, music, or inappropriate gestures among fellow Muslims. We live in an era where such things have been normalized, further reinforcing their association with da'wah is both improper and detrimental.
✨Ar-Raheem - The Especially Merciful
Allah’s mercy no just only full ground, e dey special join!
Na the kind mercy wey dey cover the people wey truly believe, trust, and follow ein way.
My brother, No matter how life be, Allah no go ever leave us stranded o.
#RamadanDay02
Fear data, not AI. A thread.
1/ People are so worried AI will “take over” that they miss the real danger: the data AI is trained on.
2/ Ever heard of GIGO? Garbage In, Garbage Out.
an observation from the last ramadan and the ones before: it's very easy to lose momentum midway. to stay spiritually strong and avoid the ramadan slump, keep these tips in mind:
share so it benefits someone else.
Keep saying “Astaghfirullah” with trust in your heart, knowing that Allah is taking care of everything for you.
Be patient, and in time, He’ll open the doors you’ve been waiting for; whether it’s marriage, a new job, children, or anything else you desire.

9/ Cut off the noise. Filter out the distractions. Choose better, not just for today, but for your future. Your mind is your greatest asset—protect it.
6/ Many debates today pit men against women as if it’s a zero-sum game. But Islam teaches that the dignity of all believers matters. We don’t win by tearing each other down.
3/ Being pro-men doesn’t mean excusing harmful male behavior. Being pro-women doesn’t mean demonizing men. It means advocating while staying firmly on the side of truth.
1. “There’s no reward for being a good person.” You may have heard this before. Maybe even thought it yourself. But as Muslims, we know better.
2. Allah tells us in the Qur'an that His mercy is near to those who do good (Qur’an 7:56).
The soul of my soul...
Sheikh Yasir Qadhi asked the Shaheed Khaled Nabhan, may Allah have mercy on him, what advice he would give to Muslims in America earlier this year at the ICNA annual convention in Baltimore.
His answer is incredibly powerful, yet so typical of the people of Gaza.
Addressing a Muslim American crowd, mere miles from the White House and the source of Israel's weaponry massacring his people including his grandchildren - the soul of his soul - there was no call for advocacy, nor for more protests. No appeal for phone banks or email campaigns. No requests for donations or food. Just a remarkable clarity, amid the rubble and darkness, on what our mission in this world is.
Even with quite literally everything falling apart around him, the one thing that never did shake is his faith. Perhaps the souls of his soul returned to her Creator so soon to awaken a billion other souls deep in slumber. May we take heed.
