Flight Attendants Strike and Win—Because No One Should Work for Free
Air Canada flight attendants just ended a historic strike with a ground-breaking deal: they'll finally be paid for boarding, deplaning, and safety work—work they’ve done for years without compensation. Meanwhile, many of us face pay cuts and silencing when we hold power to account. I stand in full support of our flight crews—professionals who save lives, not profit margins. This is about fairness, Charter rights, and restoring dignity. Every job deserves pay. Every worker deserves respect.
Worked 11 years for a doctor. Part time no benefits no pension and for 17 dollars an hour. Be grateful instead of greedy. Canadians always suffer. I’m sure they make enough just for pushing envelopes. Shameful!!
@joesbroke @Heresathought4U @CP24 It’s not unnecessarily it’s for life or death. They are protecting our lives and our healthcare system (hospitals). Good to be alive Uh??? There may have been things that could have been done differently but I choose my life over possible death!!!
@joe_warmington Quoting one trucker “it’s my livelihood. It’s what I do to keep heat on and food on the table” what about other families. What about my family who’s sole provider cannot work due to parts shortage (Ford Motor Co) Shame!! Get vaccinated so we can get back to living
