Andy Burnham sits there crying on television while stripping the Winter Fuel Payment away from British pensioners who grafted for forty years and paid their taxes.
He refuses to trim a single penny of foreign aid to Pakistan or touch welfare handouts for foreign nationals, but happily freezes elderly citizens to balance his broken books.
It is the hard working British public who should be in tears, not this out of touch Prime Minister!
So it was all a big con. The only 'free' social care is a carer coming to your home 15 minutes a day if that. Residential care is not covered. What a bunch of gullible fools to believe this crap.
Every speech I have seen from the Labour Party conference today has filled me with hope.
Hope that they fuck off very soon, and hope we never see them near government ever again….
If the pensioners triple lock is unaffordable according to Labour, so was scrapping the two child benefit cap, so is the ballooning sickness benefits, so is universal credit, so is paying billions to Mauritius, so is illegal immigration.
Labour have the wrong priorities.
Residential care - the expensive bit of elder care - will not be covered by a new Social Care Plan.
People will still have to sell their homes.
Another fib.
Labour plan for old people:
1. Pay them less
2. Euthanise them when they get sick
3. Take their money through death duties
4. Seize their house while it’s in probate
It’s why I’m so anti socialism… I spent my youth travelling the eastern block (taking tights, make ups & magazines for my main Russia rivals who I made friends with). Socialism lies about what it delivers, it pulled everyone DOWN to the lowest dominator. Removing inspiration & aspiration. AND growth. Replacing it with the Stasi, the loss of free speech, & putting those in power who ultimately rule by fear. Look to countries that have gone down this route. And believe in history.
@BillyCa47815429@TheNorfolkLion Burnham’s National Care Service will NOT cover the residential "bed/board" part of staying in a care home (aka the DEAR BIT). The new service is designed to cover personal care costs ONLY (such as assistance with washing, dressing, and eating).
Still be coming for your homes!!!
What we are seeing is what we predicted. Labour will use Gaza, PR, social care, pro-immigration, and landlord-bashing to consolidate the Left while the Right is divided three ways. People on the Right are being played. They either consolidate behind one force or they lose.
So first it was @Keir_Starmer
and the abolition of the
‘winter fuel allowance’ …
Now @andyburnham goes after the pensioners again
by abolishing the ‘triple lock’ that we @Conservatives
introduced 15 years ago ..to maintain a decent level of State Pension…
It was only a matter of time that they’d @UKLabour
would be coming for this..
As they’re up to their necks in debt …….funding
illegal immigrants, foreign criminals..
and now in addition,
@ShabanaMahmood wants more immigration from
Gaza and Afghanistan !
This gets worse by the day ..
Along with the National Security threats !!!!
People didn't vote Labour in, they voted the Tories out. Labour was just a protest vote-the supposed "lesser of two evils."
We were wrong.
Next time around, voters will have to send a message that completely dismantles them for a generation 🇬🇧
Nigel, Kemi and Rupert: if you allow a divided right to be defeated by a tactical left-wing coalition at the next election, history will remember you as traitors. Do a deal.
JUST HAD TO BE SHARED ☕️
Buying a fucking coffee has become unnecessarily complicated.
There was a time when you walked into a café and asked for a coffee.
That was it.
"Coffee please."
Somebody put coffee in a cup, you gave them some money, and everybody got on with their fucking day.
Not anymore.
Now you walk into somewhere like Costa and ordering a coffee feels like you're filling out a mortgage application.
"What would you like?"
Coffee.
"Americano, latte, cappuccino, flat white, cortado, mocha, macchiato, espresso, double espresso, iced latte, iced Americano, frappe?"
Fucking hell.
I don't know.
The brown one that wakes me up.
Then comes the size.
Small, medium, large, regular, tall, grande, massive, fucking oil drum.
I'll have a large.
Excellent.
Surely we're finished.
Oh no.
"What milk would you like?"
Milk.
"Whole, semi skimmed, skimmed, oat, almond, coconut, soya?"
Cow.
Just whatever normally comes out of a fucking cow.
Then they start offering you syrups.
Vanilla, caramel, hazelnut, salted caramel, gingerbread, cinnamon, chocolate, white chocolate, pumpkin spice, sugar free vanilla, sugar free caramel.
No.
I wanted a coffee.
I didn't come in to design a fucking Yankee Candle.
But we're still nowhere near finished.
Would I like an extra shot?
Decaf?
Half caf?
An extra hot one?
Skinny?
Whipped cream?
Cold foam?
Chocolate sprinkles?
Cinnamon dust?
Caramel drizzle?
Chocolate drizzle?
Ice?
Crushed ice?
Less ice?
More ice?
At this point I'm expecting them to ask whether I'd like fucking underfloor heating installed.
And there's always somebody in front of you who knows this system intimately.
"Can I have a large iced skinny oat milk caramel latte, half sweet, extra hot, two pumps of vanilla, one pump of hazelnut, no foam, extra shot, light ice, whipped cream, caramel drizzle?"
Fucking hell, Barbara.
You're not ordering a drink.
You're giving the launch sequence for a fucking nuclear submarine.
Meanwhile I'm standing behind her thinking, "Coffee. Milk. Two sugars. Please let me go home."
Then comes the price.
"That'll be five pounds eighty please."
FIVE POUNDS EIGHTY?
For a fucking coffee?
For that money I want to keep the mug.
In fact, I want shares in the fucking building.
And because you've already stood there answering twenty seven questions about milk and syrup, you just tap your card like you've developed Stockholm syndrome.
Then they finally hand it over.
And I've ordered the biggest fucking size they've got because, naturally, I'm thinking bigger cup means more coffee.
Silly me.
The cup's the size of a fucking paint tin, but about fourteen percent of it appears to be coffee.
The rest is milk, foam, whipped cream, syrup, ice, chocolate dust, caramel drizzle and whatever other fucking building materials they've used to construct it.
You've basically ordered a coffee and they've built a fucking extension on top of it.
If you've gone for one of the cold ones it's even worse.
You pick up this enormous plastic cup thinking you've got enough caffeine to see you through until Thursday, then realise three quarters of the bastard is ice.
Six quid for twelve ice cubes, a splash of milk and a frightened little espresso hiding at the bottom.
Take the ice out and your "large" coffee would fit in a fucking egg cup.
And then there's the whipped cream.
Fucking mountains of it.
You've got to eat your way through half of the Alps before you even reach the beverage you actually ordered.
By the time you finally locate the coffee, you've consumed eight hundred calories and you've got cream on your nose.
At that point it's not a drink anymore.
It's a fucking dessert with a caffeine problem.
And somehow we've all just accepted this.
We've gone from putting the kettle on and spooning Nescafé into a mug to standing in a queue while somebody called Tyler asks what fucking personality we'd like our milk to have.
I don't need my coffee to be an experience.
I don't need it handcrafted.
I don't need it drizzled.
I don't need it dusted.
I don't need it topped with something that looks like insulation foam.
I just want it hot, strong and capable of making me slightly less likely to tell everyone to fuck off before nine o'clock in the morning.
It's coffee.
Put it in a cup.
Give it to me.
And stop making me take a fucking GCSE before I'm allowed to drink it.
I repeat. We *do not* have a problem in the UK with the so-called "far-right".
We do, however, have a VERY serious problem with a highly organised, dangerous, well-funded, well-connected, unhinged, and extremely violent far-left.
Labour have been in power for 2 years, 2 months and 24 days.
Since then they’ve attempted to stop local elections, scrap jury trials, change algorithms to favour “approved” news, and now take people's property against their will.
If someone listed those events without context, my mind would go straight to the Soviet Union of the 1930s.
This should not be Britain in 2026.
The former bodyguard of a Hamas leader was a British citizen.
All the 7/7 bombers were British nationals.
The failed 21/7 bomber, Muktar Said Ibrahim, was a British national.
The Manchester synagogue attacker, Jihad Al-Shamie, was a British citizen.
The Westminster car attacker, Salih Khater, was granted British citizenship only weeks before his terror attack.
Just telling us that they’re "British nationals living in London" is meaningless. A lot of questions have not been answered.
I know a few retired couples who have worked really hard & paid taxes all their lives. Not wealthy, who own just regular 2 bed semis or a small bungalow. They go to Spain during the winter months to save on crazy electricity, gas & food bills. Because ours are unaffordable on a pension. And because they can get outdoors in better weather. Are Labour going to steal their houses? We become more Stalin like every single day under this horrid government. If you want to see a government that’s killed more of its own people look to a communist one. I loath the politics of greed & envy. It’s self destructive & ultimately corrupt. As those in charge are never equal to those they control! The rules don’t apply to them.
There is an abundance of oil.
There is an abundance of coal.
There is an abundance of gas.
There is an abundance of food.
There is an abundance of water.
Scarcity is being fabricated by psychopaths.
