🧤 Rory Watson Update
We would like to update everyone on Rory Watson’s concussion situation.
Rory was helped off the field following an incident in the first half of yesterday’s game and was taken to A&E at Darlington Memorial Hospital. After precautionary tests and X-rays, no injuries were detected, and Rory was discharged later that evening.
He is now resting at home — news we know everyone will be relieved to hear. We’re sure supporters will join us in wishing him all the very best in his recovery.
We would also like to extend our thanks to Darlington physio Luke Roberts, the Scarborough physio, and all the staff at Darlington Memorial Hospital for their care and support.
Due to concussion protocols, Rory will miss at least Monday’s fixture against South Shields. Following discussions with the league, we are currently exploring the option of bringing in an emergency goalkeeper.
Get well soon, Rory.
