DTL Podcast

The Darkest Timeline is a movie podcast following actors through bad movies, then talking about it as a coping mechanism.

Super-Fun New Year's Hiatus! Dylan, one of our three regular presenters and podcast editor, threw out his back on New Year's Eve (preparing to do laundry), so he can't sit at his computer without some amount of pain. Hopefully he heals quickly. His year can only get better.

FYI: the website is finally current, so the Season 7 page finally exists. And if you haven't been listening recently because of our social media blackout, we're on season 8 now, which is a round-robin "bad films we love" kind of deal.
It will be less of a dark timeline.

Now on https://t.co/m05rWyHIgY, after such a long tweeting dry-spell;
The gloriously out-there 1993 Disney edition of The Three Musketeers, which is genuinely one of the twins' favorite childhood films.
It's also way better than Disney's awful 2011 adaptation.
#DTLPodcast

[DTL Podcast @DTLPodcast]

Went to an 11:15pm showing of #Venom last night. Not a great film, but it's a pretty dope movie. The @RottenTomatoes scores make so much sense to me.

[DTL Podcast @DTLPodcast]

You may have noticed the lack of podcasts and such.
So, we're actually going on an unplanned month-long break. The reason being that our editor's job that he actually gets paid for just got way busy, so he doesn't have time to edit the podcasts right now. #Sorry #DTLPodcast

[DTL Podcast @DTLPodcast]

Now on https://t.co/m05rWyHIgY!
The ninth and final episode of the DTW Gauntlet!
This week we face the WCW killing madness that was 2000's "Ready to Rumble"!
I'd never seen this whole film and didn't hate it as much as I thought I would. Huh.
#DTLPodcast

[DTL Podcast @DTLPodcast]

Now on https://t.co/m05rWyHIgY, The "Magic Mike" episode!
What was that? Magic Mike has like 80% on Rotten Tomatoes, but we have a "45% and under" rule?
We do.
Blame David.
And our trust in David.
So, I guess just listen to our reaction to a good stripper movie. #DTLPodcast

[DTL Podcast @DTLPodcast]

Now on https://t.co/m05rWyHIgY!
The Gauntlet continues as the boys face off against 2006's "See No Evil" represented by The Big Red Machine Himself; Knox County, Tennessee Mayoral Candidate Glen "Kane" Jacobs!

[DTL Podcast @DTLPodcast]

So, the "See No Evil" podcast will not be coming out tomorrow due to an editing issue that can't be fixed until Saturday, so it'll be out Saturday midday at some point. #TechnicalIssues #DTLPodcast

[DTL Podcast @DTLPodcast]

Now on DTLPodcast: The Wrestling Gauntlet continues with 2011's "The Chaperone" starring Paul "Hunter Hearst "'Triple H'" Helmsley" Levesque in one of only two starring film roles. The other was 2011's "Inside Out" (no relation). #Pauly3Hs #DTLPodcast

[DTL Podcast @DTLPodcast]

Aaaaaand everything is back online, and I am none the wiser as to why it was off in the first place... #Closure? #DTLPodcast

[DTL Podcast @DTLPodcast]

https://t.co/m05rWyHIgY might be up right now, but unfortunately the site where we host the episodes is not. We're trying to resolve the issue. Sorry for any inconvenience. #TechnicalIssues #DTLPodcast #SansThePodcast

[DTL Podcast @DTLPodcast]

Now on https://t.co/m05rWyHIgY, we present to you our review of what we came to realize could be naught but Gods favorite film; 1987's "Ishtar" starring Warren Beatty and Dustin Hoffman. #ThatAintPoverty #DTLPodcast

[DTL Podcast @DTLPodcast]

That last tweet was for the third episode of the season, the first two movies of the season were 2010's "Faster" starring Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson and 1996's "Three Ninjas High Noon at Mega Mountain" starring three kids and Hulk Hogan!

[DTL Podcast @DTLPodcast]

Now on https://t.co/m05rWyHIgY (and finally back on social after some madness)
Welcome to the Darkest Timeline Wrestling Gauntlet Podcast! Only movies starring wrestlers! This week was 2006's "The Marine" starring @JohnCena and @robertpatrickT2! #DTLPodcast

[DTL Podcast @DTLPodcast]

So, huge wedding weekend (not mine) so I haven't had time to update the website yet, but you can listen to the current podcast (Season 6 Episode 1: Faster - 2010) on Google Play and iTunes. I'll be updating the website soon. #DTLPodcast

[DTL Podcast @DTLPodcast]

Finally on https://t.co/m05rWyHIgY (thanks to hosting issues) the "Ultraviolet" (2006) episode! Join @MillaJovovich's staggeringly large midriff on a journey to not get a kid or herself killed. Totally works out... mostly. Except for the times it doesn't... #DLTPodcast

[DTL Podcast @DTLPodcast]

https://t.co/m05rWyHIgY is back up! But I haven't had time to update it to the latest episode yet. I won't be back home for three or so hours, so expect a new tweet around then. #DTLPodcast #StillNotAnAprilFoolsJoke #JustABadDay

[DTL Podcast @DTLPodcast]

I feel like I should clarify; the website being down is not an #AprilFoolsDay joke. It's just that sad truth. Unless my hosting platform is playing an April Fools prank on me, but if that's the case, I'm switching platforms...

[DTL Podcast @DTLPodcast]

So, https://t.co/m05rWyHIgY is down right now, cause I've been lockout out of my hosting account because of a client update, but the episodes aren't actually hosted on that server, so you can still listen on iTunes, Google Play, and some other places so far. #DTLPodcast
