Manhunt underway in Mount Olive Mississippi after a deputy was shot suffering life threatening injuries.

The incident took place at Greer's cashsaver on 406 main street.

A search is underway for the believed suspect, 19 year old Zykerian Quentavius Magee.

Magee is described as a black man who stands 6 feet 3 inches tall and weighs 185 pounds. MBI says he was last seen on foot near the 200 block of South Bluff Road just after 3:30 p.m., wearing a black hoodie and gray pants.
