I want to talk about the WCRC convention yesterday..

Along with 4 other brave ladies and one lone gentleman, stood up and argued against endorsing ANY candidates for the upcoming primary election. I want to say I don't have any personal issues with any incumbent candidates in my county. I am opposed to endorsement in general not of any particular candidates.

Most of the candidates are running unopposed and the "incumbent" candidate for register of wills has only been in the appointed position for a month..

Unfortunately the previous register of wills was removed from the position for not doing her job and because of that I feel that the current man who is appointed should go through the process of getting elected to bring credibility back to the office.

I'm sure many have seen the controversial display of what happened earlier this year at the State GOP with the judicial candidate endorsement.

At the end of the day the majority of the party chose to endorse all the incumbent Candidates. I had a feeling that would be the outcome although it was not my chosen outcome.

I whole heartedly believe it should be up to the voters to choose their candidate in the closed primaries and then the party should get behind that candidate that the voters choose to represent them.

This has for sure been eye opening for me and I still stand by my decision to get up and fight for what I believe it, and that will never change.
