To Our Valued Community,
At Secret Flying, our mission has always been to help travellers explore the world by providing access to affordable flight deals and incredible travel experiences. We have strived to make the world a more connected and accessible place for people of all backgrounds. Today, we are announcing an important change in our approach to flight deals.
We have long been committed to supporting the well-being of all communities around the world. We believe it is our duty to use our platform to advocate for justice, peace, and the resolution of conflicts where possible. For years, the situation in Israel has been marked by conflict and suffering. It is time for this urgent matter to be addressed.
After careful consideration, we have decided to make a significant change to our publication policy. Until a two-state solution is in place and the rights and well-being of stateless Palestinians are addressed, Secret Flying will no longer be publishing flight deals to and from Israel.
Our decision is not meant to be a judgment on the people of Israel, who have a right to live in peace and security, just like all individuals around the world. Nor does it question Israel’s right to exist. Rather, it is a call for a fair and equitable resolution to a long-standing conflict that has affected countless lives.
We acknowledge that this decision may be met with varying opinions, and we do not take sides in a complex geopolitical issue. Instead, we aim to draw attention to the suffering of innocent Palestinians, who have faced unimaginable hardships for decades.
For too long, Western governments, media and companies have ignored the suffering of Palestinians, particularly those in Gaza. In the past six days alone, over 700 children have been killed from Israeli airstrikes, with many more expected as Israel prepares for a ground invasion. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Friday that the offensive on the Gaza Strip is “just the beginning.” Despite this, Western politicians and companies remain silent on the matter, caring more about their political ambitions and revenue than speaking up for the voiceless. Secret Flying refuses to be a part of this hypocrisy.
We understand that some travellers may be inconvenienced by this decision, and for that, we apologise. However, we firmly believe that our commitment to advocating for a just and peaceful resolution to this longstanding conflict takes precedence.
We are ready to revisit this policy as soon as we see significant progress towards the creation of a Palestinian state and improved conditions for all residents of the region. In the meantime, we remain committed to serving the global travel community, and we look forward to a brighter and more peaceful future for all.
Thank you for your understanding and support as we take this step towards peace and justice.

@CressNC As a government attorney I have done this a few times. After being here for a few years we get a ton of vacation time and can use it all at once. That said it makes the weeks before and after really busy
@MatthewSchafer This is the best advice I have seen. I didn’t do any of those things, knowing I wanted to go into public service I spent as much time as possible getting practical experience. Ended up working for a government agency and actually enjoy coming to work most days.
@thecityofhbg this pile of cardboard recycling (most of it not mine) has been on my curb since the recycling pickup left it there on Wednesday. Who do I contact to get it removed?
@reidatcheson@questauthority Get rid of single judge divisions in federal district courts OR require that any nationwide decision be heard by a three judge panel or court sitting en banc.
Kicking out representatives over specious “breaches indecorum” when they are advocating for issues which are important to their constituents is plain undemocratic. The founding fathers would not approve.
This nation was built on peaceful protest. No elected official should lose their job simply for raising their voice – especially when they’re doing it on behalf of our children.

@EllieMargolis @CecereCarl This is the hard part but 2 practice tips 1 look at which cases come close -ish and are cited often start there. 2 keep a spreadsheet of the cases you read - if you specialize you might not need it that case but huge timesaver down the line
@design_law My 1L grades were abysmal (2L was only marginally better) but I got as much internship/practical experience as possible and have been practicing as a government attorney for almost a decade.
@Mr_Jeffcoat I walked out of the exam thinking to myself “so this is what it feels like to fail the bar.” Also I was completely drained both emotionally and physically.
