Dallas Texans Soccer Club
It is with heavy hearts that we share the news that we lost one of our Dallas Texan ‘team members’, Abdollah Adloo (Abdi). He was instrumental in the creation of the Dallas Texans. We remember and celebrate his life — a man who touched so many, not only as a coach but as a
mentor, father, husband, brother and especially as a friend. He carried himself with quiet strength, unwavering kindness, a passion for soccer and we will never forget his infectious smile and that twinkle in his eye.
He was quick to offer a helping hand, a thoughtful
teach the game, but he taught discipline, respect, teamwork, and the belief that every player had something special to give.
Today, we grieve a tremendous loss, but we also give thanks for the gift of Abdi’s life. Though he may be gone from our sight, he is not gone from our
conversation, or the simple act of showing up each and every day at the soccer fields.
