@TCGEvan I actually don’t think so which I would have said was crazy a couple years ago when I was still mainly a Magic player. The search and draw power in Pokemon is so high that most decks are extremely consistent and those slots would be better served by playing more tech cards.
@ModeratelyMtg It’s so wild to me that I’ve seen players from other games talk about this and basically come to the conclusion that LSV would have gotten penalized for an equivalent bluff in their game. To me this is a foundational example of playing your opponent, not just the cards.
@slowpoke_bowl@thefleeee Sure but it has its own condition of needing damage counters on the opponent. It just has a lot of similarities in HP, damage, attack cost, stage 1, etc. Doesn’t really do anything unique.
