@LozzaFox "The purpose of propaganda is not to persuade but rather break down a person's ability to see things clearly by ritualistically humiliating him with information he knows not to be true but with which he is not permitted to disagree"
Theodore Dalrymple
@McJuggerNuggets Stories like this don’t occur w/o your permission. U ~had~ 2 have given it the thumbs-up. If U didn’t, I hope U seek legal council & make millions.
Those response? Inevitable. Say U like orange juice on X; you’re going to have anti-citrus extremists threaten to blow up your home.
@McJuggerNuggets I’m atheist. I honestly feel that if you felt as though allowing a child with downs syndrome to exist would be cruel, then that’s a valid way to feel and it’s not my business.
But why blow it up into something so public? Why publicize it? Those disturbing responses are the result
It’s taken years, but I’ve finally discovered the true definition of “racism”.
Racism:
Whenever white people express any degree of the same in-group preference that every other race justifies and celebrates.
The reason I despise credentialism so much is because I have the credentials myself, I know how hollow they are, and I understand that more often than not credentials are used as an appeal to authority when logic and facts do not suffice.
@vishotta@webfoots13@NiohBerg So - the police didn’t use methods of restraint that had been taught to them for their job? & the court case actually had “would kill someone who doesn’t use fentanyl and that someone with regular use would be able to tolerate that amount of drugs in their system” verbally used?
In Texas, this dude would’ve been dropped for threatening someone’s life and would be six under. The Brit leaders and law enforcement that just let him do this for so long are also absolutely responsible for Henry Nowak’s murder.
@GPrime85@LeHobbitFan Usually not that age. Those two were outnumbered, out muscled and were unarmed against ~at least~ a machete.
And people who cattily respond to the 250yr USA anny with “I’d literally rather be anywhere else than the US” should go wherever ~this~ is.
@HLC_actual@shy_ferg As an atheist, I agree. And for anyone that asks - ditto for the beer commercials (those were from a different time), and late night cable commercials for lonely people who want to talk to hot bored college girls who love older men. Age lock stuff like this to “over eighteen”.
@11975MHz@fleshsimulator Not laughing that it happened. Laughing at how brazen the move was and how human nature actually plays into stuff like this to the point that the faux division probably succeeded in creating racist extremists on ~both~ sides - merely in response.
