@KeelyDaley10 Being misused again by DLF he’s not a cam and he shouldn’t be playing that high up . Xavi did this as well and we saw how that backfired
Yet flick has pedri in the doubke pivot cm role and yet y’all wamna be like yes that’s the pedri
It’s the same pedri just dlf is an idiot
Real Madrid take pride in taking former Barca Players
whilst Barcelona would Never want player associated with Madrid
it shows how different both see each others in the rivalry
🚨🗣️New: Zlatan Ibrahimovic on Vinicius Junior refusing the mandatory halftime interview with FIFA at the World Cup:
“People are shocked that Vinícius walked away from a halftime interview. I am shocked that anyone thinks he should have stopped in the first place.
Halftime is not a television studio. Halftime is not a podcast. Halftime is not a red carpet. Halftime is the heartbeat of a football match.
For 45 minutes, players are warriors in a storm. They run, they fight, they suffer, they bleed. Then they get 15 precious minutes to recover, to breathe, to listen, to think. And FIFA wants to spend part of that time chasing soundbites? That is like pulling a Formula 1 driver out of his car during a pit stop and asking him how the race is going.
And FIFA’s idea is to shove a microphone in the player’s face and ask, ‘How do you feel?’
How do you think he feels? He’s exhausted.
This is modern football’s biggest disease. Everything is content. Everything is sponsorship. Everything is television. The match hasn’t even finished and they’re already trying to manufacture headlines.
They tell us they care about player welfare. Really? Then why are players playing more games than ever? Why are tournaments expanding? Why are injuries increasing? And now they want halftime interviews too? The hypocrisy is unbelievable.
Halftime is sacred. It belongs to the players and the coaches. That’s where games are won. That’s where tactics change. That’s where injuries get treated. That’s where leaders speak. It is not a media circus.
And don’t tell me this is for the fans. Fans want better football, not a tired player giving a robotic 20-second answer because somebody sold another broadcast package.
Vinícius understood that. He chose football over public relations.
The funniest part? They threaten him with a fine. A fine. As if that changes the principle. If I were there, I’d pay it too. Because some things are worth more than money.
If FIFA really had their way, they’d put microphones in the dressing room and call it innovation.
Football should come first. Not content. Not commercials. Not corporate greed.
For once, a player pushed back. And that’s exactly why so many people are angry.”
Would’ve been a good depth signing for us, especially given Casado’s out, but definitely a bigger signing for Madrid given the state of their midfield.
Annoying, because I actually do think he makes them better. And we could’ve prevented it.
🚨💣 Thierry Henry accuses Real Madrid of turning Barcelona's transfer targets into their own obsession
🗣️: "Sometimes I look at Real Madrid's transfer activity and I wonder if they are building their own project or simply following Barcelona's shopping list.
Barcelona wanted Bernardo Silva, and now Madrid want Bernardo Silva. Barcelona showed interest in Dumfries, and Madrid rushed to secure him. Hansi Flick reportedly prefers Gvardiol, and suddenly Madrid are pushing for Gvardiol too. Barcelona work on Julian Alvarez, then Madrid submit a €150 million bid and make sure everyone hears about it. Now the same thing is happening with Marc Cucurella.
Of course, clubs can like the same players. That is football. But when the same pattern repeats itself with Bernardo Silva, Dumfries, Gvardiol, Julian Alvarez and Cucurella, people start asking questions.
Real Madrid are one of the biggest clubs in history. They should be setting their own direction, not constantly appearing wherever Barcelona are trying to go. Sometimes it feels like their first objective is not signing the player for Madrid, but making sure Barcelona do not get him.
A great club builds its own project. If your transfer strategy starts looking like a reaction to your rival's plans, then maybe you have forgotten what made you great in the first place."
Can't wait for the same people who based their entire assessment of Gordon on the last friendly to now say, "It's just a friendly, we can't take much from it," for this one.
Well, it looks like Rashford's story with us is over.
This is exactly why I found it hard to believe the reports claiming Flick wanted him to stay. If Flick truly wanted Rashford, the club wouldn't hesitate to spend €30m on him while being ready to splash €80m on Gordon without a second thought. Flick's preference has been pretty clear for a while.
The biggest sign for me was the UCL knockout game against Atleti. Rashford was our only natural left winger available, yet Flick still chose to play Fermín out of position rather than start him. That told me everything I needed to know.
I think Flick's "OK" to Rashford staying was more along the lines of: "I'm fine with keeping him as extra depth, but he's not a priority and I still want another left winger."
That's very different from: "Keep this guy no matter what, I need him for next season."
I owe Barcelona fans an apology.🙏
When you said Fermin López was worth €100m, I disagreed and argued that €60m was a more realistic valuation. Turns out, you were right and I was wrong.
Fermin López is worth €100m. And if Elliot Anderson is being valued at €120m, then Pedri must be worth at least €170m.
Are Rashford fans still coping by saying we didn't sign him because of financial problems, even after we spent more than half of his fee on Gordon?
When are you guys going to wake up to reality?
