Singapore can be a weird country:
- Our Conservative ruling party is Pro-Immigration and our Progressive opposition parties are Anti-Immigration. Yes, the "liberals" are the ones opposing mass influx of migrants
- Christianity is the second most popular religion among Singaporean Chinese right after Buddhism (just like South Korea). And even then, Christian Singaporean Chinese still have to follow Chinese traditions such as not sticking chopsticks into food or not gifting umbrellas. There are also Christian Singaporean Indians too.
- We have a celebrity who has a Sikh Indian mix father and a Chinese Japanese mix mother. We all know who he is.
- We are the only South East Asian country where English is the Franca Lingua. We are also the only developed country of South East Asia as of now (But one day our neighbors will catch up to us so its nothing to boast about)
- We are multicultural yet still required to retain our heritage. Those from mixed race heritages have to retain both their parents heritage
- Our laws are somewhat stricter than Japan yet our social etiquette aren't as strict. You can get a tattoo here and no one will care as long as you cover them up during work.
- We have wild roosters roaming around. I talked about that before.
🚨🗣️ Casemiro on Jamie Carragher's criticism of him: "Everyone says whatever they want on television."
"But it’s a bit normal, because I won two Champions League titles over his team."
Looks like Varne Slot has slotted right in at Liverpool now. He has the proper victim mindset to go with. Forgot all the favors he got from VAR already. Please continue to stay and spend hundreds of millions on new players Slot. It's clear what you guys need is to spend more.
🚨 Arne Slot on Šeško’s goal: “I think it's a touch on his hand. The curve on the ball changed so there must have been a contact”.
“But it's NO surprise to anyone that if there is a VAR intervention then the decision goes against us. It's happened to us ALL season”.
🚨 Michael Jackson will be Burnley’s interim manager until the end of the season, club statement confirms.
Follows Scott Parker leaving with immediate effect.
RVP, man.
50 yard pass over the shoulder controlled in sprinting stride into a 90' weak foot finish away from home.
No Premier League striker that can do this in 2026.
Makes me realize how far the league has declined in terms of player quality.
A both funny and educational meme. Let me explain:
In the first panel, Joey is excited because the hotel’s “free Wi-Fi” is extremely fast. Anyone who has stayed in hotels knows their Wi-Fi is usually slow, overloaded, and frustrating. So when a connection suddenly feels blazing fast, it feels like you got lucky.
In the second panel, Joey checks his device and notices his IP address starts with 172.16.42.x. His expression instantly changes to shock — because that number means something very specific in cybersecurity.
That IP range is the well-known default network configuration used by a device called a WiFi Pineapple.
A WiFi Pineapple is a portable penetration-testing tool that attackers can use to create rogue Wi-Fi access points. It can imitate legitimate networks … like a hotel’s Wi-Fi and trick nearby devices into connecting to it instead of the real network.
Once your device connects, the attacker effectively becomes the network in the middle, allowing them to observe or manipulate traffic passing through it. This is a classic Man in the Middle (MitM) attack.
The reason the connection feels “fast” is simple: you’re probably one of the few people connected to it, and the attacker is letting your traffic pass through so they can monitor it.
So if you ever connect to public Wi-Fi and notice an IP address like 172.16.42.x, there’s a good chance you’re not actually on the hotel’s network…. you might be connected to a rogue hotspot controlled by someone else.
When he died eight days ago, his face was everywhere. Every platform carried his photo. Everyone had something to say. The timelines were heavy with grief. For two days, it felt as though the whole country paused.
But eight days later, the noise has faded. His name is no longer on people’s lips. His image has been swept aside like dust in harmattan wind. Life has continued, as it always does. Only his family still sits with the real weight of it. Only they feel the ache that does not trend and does not expire.
Are we meant to mourn forever? But there is something sobering about how quickly the world moves on when a person dies. It reminds you that applause is brief, attention is fleeting, and the crowd does not stay long.
So laugh while your lungs are strong enough to carry it. Cry when you must. Love deeply and allow yourself to be loved in return. Travel if you can. Eat good food. Sit with friends and merry. Forgive quickly. Carry no hatred in your chest; it is too heavy for such a short journey.
Do that thing you have been postponing. Stop telling yourself “one day.” Help someone. Share what you have. Give, even if it is small.
All we truly have is now. The present hour. Make every second, minute, and hour count. Live your best life.
Mason Greenwood matter is so funny because the people comdemning him do not actually care about the woman involved. We need to stop pretending this has anything to do with care for her or women.
The woman involved did not leave him, she is not mad at him, she stood with him throughout, was making love to this man while he was on suspension and social media cancelling, she married him, had kid with him, travelled with him when United sent him away. In sending him away, United was also punishing the woman they claimed they are fighting for.
Again I ask, which woman are you fighting for? I'm not even addressing the fact that the court did not find him guilty. I'm just focused on the woman and how the people who claim to be fighting for her, do not even care about what she wants.
In the end, they are still together and thriving elsewhere. Guess who is suffering?😊
