Why did you delete the part where I was asking for my phone so I could retrieve my cousin’s number? And where I was asking to let me speak to my lawyers?

The same Delhi Police which is now taking the moral high ground for informing me about my grandmother’s demise and offering me a ride home came to me at 3:30 in the morning with arrest papers, demanding that I sign them.

Where did all that humanity go at 3:30 AM? Despite knowing that I had just lost my grandmother, they still insisted that I sign the arrest papers. I refused until I was allowed to speak to my lawyers.

I have received a letter from the All Odisha SC/ST Teacher Aspirants Association, urging the Odisha govt to immediately initiate a special recruitment drive to fill 2,798 backlog vacancies for SC/ST high school teachers. I support their demand for the immediate publication of a special recruitment notification backlog teacher posts, early approval of the pending proposal & commencement of the recruitment process. This is much needed to protect the constitutional reservation rights of SC/ST teacher aspirants. The state govt must heed their demand & take necessary action.

🚨Friends, Mr. Manan Kumar Mishra’s Bar Council of India spent 14 CRORES on meetings and conferences in just one year.

Today, he had to withdraw a portion of his outrageous order on NALSAR students within 1 hour. So where and how is this 14 crores being spent?

12 crores was also spent on travel and accommodation.

But what has been the result? If Mr. Mishra is capable of issuing such a draconian order against young students, then what welfare has he been doing for young lawyers and law schools? He’s been in the position since 2012 and will be till 2030.
