There have been some concerns raised that stream donos may be funding an illegal paramilitary organization so I want to address those real quick:
they are
@digitaltrace404 "You're not exactly making it easy!"
She's only a little whiny.
"Listen, you get me and Tokki back safe, I send this over to the lab. If you can hack a mech, you shouldn't have any problems getting whatever they learn, right?"
@digitaltrace404 There's a lot that could be gained.
There's a lot that could be lost. If this is a Gwishin unit, giving them access to a MEKA unit would be disastrous.
"You haven't given me any reason to trust you."
@digitaltrace404 There is a lot to be considered. Hana looks furious, but the reality is that she's terrified of everything that could go wrong in the next few minutes. Someone's gained access to her mech, and now they want her to connect to an alleged Gwishin unit.
@digitaltrace404 "Let me get this straight."
She has one hand on the dashboard, the other gestures towards the readout of text.
"You want me to connect my extremely dangerous mech to a mysterious device? After kidnapping me and stealing my mech?"
@digitaltrace404 A heavily encrypted signal in the ocean is bad news. Hana's attention is piqued, she shifts so she can look forward properly.
And yes, she's let go of the wires.
"This close to the coast?"
@digitaltrace404 Her gaze darts back and forth between the text on the dash and the underside of the controls.
"Why would I trust you?! And where are you trying to go?!"
@digitaltrace404 This is a *massive* security breach. Whoever's driving could do a lot of damage. It's the only thing in Hana's mind right now.
One hand finds the latch on the underside of the dashboard. The other is gripping one of the handles, she's positioned like she's the one driving.
@digitaltrace404 "You can hear me! You can--"
She slaps the console twice, a half-feral growl escapes her at the same time.
"Start explaining, or I start ripping wires out!"
@digitaltrace404 Her first instinct is the emergency off switch, which... doesn't seem to be doing anything. It doesn't seem to be doing anything on the second or third press either.
@digitaltrace404 The first indicator that something is wrong is her game freezing. She's been relaxing in what little free time she has, and now *this.* The sugar skull startles her, the text puts her on the immediate defensive.
"Um, no! You can't 'borrow' my mech? Who even-"
