@TheOfficialSBI As per news government notification of November 2023 ,SCSS will now allow extension in a block of every three years indefinitely, which can be extended within a year from the date of maturity. But This is not effective in SBI

@TheOfficialSBI As per economic times and other now depositor can extend the Senior citizens saving scheme /account multiple times in block of three years which was previously one time for three years only. The same rule is not applied in SBI the same may be applied in SBI also.
