🎥🎬 Filmmakers Sam Osborn and Alejandra Vasquez are developing a documentary film focusing on the process of immigration for selectees in the Diversity Visa Program. Follow>> @DVLottery_Film

They’re hoping to speak with DV Selectees who are planning to move to the United States with their family in 2023 or 2024. They’ve been collaborating with Curtis Morrison and other people in the DV network on the project and plan to begin film production later this year.

No recording or filming will be done at this early stage–they’re just hoping to speak with as many 2023/2024 DV Selectees as possible. Sam and Alejandra’s previous work covers immigration from a variety of angles including music, education, and culture. Their previous film “Going Varsity in Mariachi” premiered at the Sundance Film Festival this January.
