Recycling MYTH: If I don't know if something should be recycled, I should put it in the recycling bin just in case. FACT: this is called, 'Wishcycling' and you should avoid it! If you don't know if something should go in the recycling, remember, "When in doubt, find it out!"

Every year for America Recycles Day, Dakota Valley Recycling partners with USAgain for a shoe donation. USAgain is a national company that collects textiles to be reused or recycled. If you have shoes you would like to donate, stop by any of the below locations from Nov. 13-20!

With spooky season coming to an end, it's time to find our old pumpkins a home. Luckily for Dakota County this year there will be four drop-offs for pumpkin composting! All pumpkins are brought to the local Shakopee Mdewakanton Sioux Community Organics Recycling Facility.

Home runs sure are fun, but what makes it better? Giving everyone the chance to play sports regardless of access. For the month of Nov., we are partnering with United Heroes League to hold a Sports Equipment Donation to then provide it to military kids across the country.
