@MattBakerSTL@tombogert@stlCITYsc On that list I like Critch the best. We need to stay as homegrown as possible. Our strength is never going to be competing with the LAs and the Miami’s for DPs. We need to build a homegrown team with local talent. As soon as we accept that we start moving forward.
@boiidesigner@FootballTalkHQ In 2022 Morocco knocked out Portugal. They are good and they were better that day. Hakimi is one of the best players in the world. To dismiss Morocco is foolish.
@willbrattonstl Why aren’t we bringing in St louisians or hiring within? STL is a soccer city who has always produced soccer talent. We get a pro team we and we just keep bringing in outsiders. Make it make sense.
@USMNTTAKES Another point, we never played teams like this under the previous regimes. We played joke friendlies. I like that we are challenging the players.
@USMNTTAKES I think he stays until we can get a legit coach better than him. If we could get Mourinho then yes sack city. But there aren’t many better options than that. He is trying lots of different players which is what he’s supposed to be doing. Checking out options. Korea is a good.
@SoccerZombieSTL I think we need a sporting director who is willing to make us a homegrown team. St Louisians are all over the MLS. A few are on the USMNT. We need to capture that talent before they go elsewhere. The only year we had success was the Miggy Perez year…
@BilyeuCharlie Every single player in the history of the game has made mistakes. City has quickly given up on outside backs time and time again after a few bad performances. We need to be a little patient with our youngsters. Let him grow from this.
