Parents and coaches . . .
Remind your kids every day:
1. Don’t let having fun distract you from getting better.
2. Don’t let getting better distract you from having fun.
3. Getting better is fun. The better you get, the more fun you have.

I taught and coached for 35 years. I earned a Master's degree. I walked away from education a year ago and entered an industry with absolutely no experience. I'm making more $$ 8 months later than I made my last year in education, and I'm not dealing with parents and other BS.
I interviewed a teacher 3 years ago who decided to leave early.
Why did you resign?
“I have a Master’s degree & worked really hard for my students. I loved teaching kids and was good at it. I did it for a low salary. All of that and I had never felt so disrespected by so many.”
