OBSESSION is back at the #1 spot in America, surpassing SCARY MOVIE this Monday.
This is unprecedented, this century, for a movie heading into its fifth week in peak summer (June/July).
‘SpongeBob SquarePants’ has officially been renewed for Seasons 18 and 19 at Nickelodeon while its spinoff, The Patrick Star Show, has scored renewals through Seasons 6 and 7.
Keanu Reeves took a $2 million pay cut from his The Devil's Advocate (1997) salary so producers could afford Al Pacino, who had demanded a hefty fee that threatened the film's $57 million budget. Reeves even turned down Speed 2 to star alongside Pacino, one of his cinematic idols. Years later, Reeves said he preferred people didn't know about the sacrifice, calling it "a private transaction" and adding, "I knew by working with [Pacino] I could only raise my game."
This wasn't an isolated incident Reeves later took a 90% pay cut on The Replacements (2000) to work with Gene Hackman, and famously gave away $75 million from The Matrix sequels to the special effects and costume design teams. One of Hollywood's most selfless stars.
Real respect.
Appreciation.
Ovation.
President Obama never went out of his way for applause or admiration. He didn't inconvenience thousands of fans, forcing himself on people.
He didn't have to.
People genuinely LOVE him.
And that drives trump insane.

THE WORLDWIDE UHD PREMIERE
In his English-language debut, award-winning director André Øvredal (TROLLHUNTER, THE LAST VOYAGE OF THE DEMETER) unleashed an “intensely frightening” (Wicked Horror), “gaspingly good” (The New York Times) “exercise in pure terror” (Flickering Myth), now laid out and sliced open in UHD for the first time ever: When the body of an unidentified young woman is discovered at the scene of a mass slaughter, it is sent to the local coroner (Emmy® and BAFTA winner Brian Cox of Succession and MANHUNTER) and his son (Emile Hirsch of INTO THE WILD and ONCE UPON A TIME IN… HOLLYWOOD) for surgical post-mortem. But this corpse will reveal chilling secrets. The mortuary itself will pulse with malevolence. And as their autopsy cuts deeper, an unstoppable evil will rise. Dyanne Thorne on how she felt when she read the script of "Ilsa: She Wolf of the SS" (1975):
"When I read the original script I was appalled. It was just awful. But this was typical of the 1970s. Sometimes you’d just get a script outline, make yourself available and then everything would get filled in later. So I was a little worried initially signing on, but a friend at the time told me that he knew the director, Don Edmonds personally and that I shouldn’t worry ‘cause I would be in good hands."
When the movie opened in New York in the fall of 1975, it was a massive hit. It was screened on 42nd Street for 6 months.

Anna Faris pushed for Cindy to be MAGA in #ScaryMovie and says her joke shading Melania Trump's "Be Best" campaign got cut from the movie.
"I was always pushing for Cindy to be classic MAGA rabbit hole. The kind of person that you saw outside of the Walmart during quarantine, that was raising some kind of crazy ass fuss. There was a moment where I am getting wasted, like so drunk… I am in my truck and I look into the rearview mirror and I say, ‘Be best, Cindy Campbell. Be best.' That didn’t make it, but I liked my little winking there. You know, what are you gonna do? You gonna be mad at Cindy? I’m in a movie that is truly the most offensive movie ever made, and I’m the lead of it. And I participate in offensive ideas. I think I can kind of do anything. It liberated me." (via Dexerto)
