@sxdoc @WallStreetApes @EpiBiologist Cornyn was funded by the GOP in addition to what he raised locally. Paxton was not eligible for any GOP/national campaign funds beyond what he was able to personally raise… hence the difference in election spend.

@cbirdhouse59 Yep,a bunch of us who are pissed we have Trump not endorsing Paxton that Tx voters selected but leaning Cornyn.The GOP threw Wesley Hunt into the mix to suck votes away from Paxton-hence now a run-off on May 26th. Paxton has always been Texas first… Cornyn never has been.
